Stories like that usually come out of Canada. I guess it is a crime to protect your property and yourself against criminals. If it happens again I suppose the police will confiscate his Louisville Slugger?
After they took the guns away in Australia, the bad guys started using knives. Then they banned knives over a certain length. This pissed off a few chefs who lost their big carvers. The lawyers have sold the populace a bill of goods thinking that more laws will solve every problem.
