Some random thoughts and observations about life here and elsewhere
They say there is nothing like a war to get the economy going. I'm sure that is no consolation to those who sacrifice family members in that war.
I think that it used to be the case. I believe that we have now overextended ourselves with too many "small" wars that may just be bankrupting our economy. A billion dollars is an inconceivable number to me and yet to a politician it is just the cost of one or maybe two, small high-tech, weapons.
They won't stop until we 1. Start up the draft. 2. Start fighting with commies again.
That won't stop them!
