Rare endangered pond turtles

Enjoying the sun!
I'm not sure where this was taken. Probably somewhere near Amity.

  1. Nice. I'd trade a few of our muskrats for those turtles.

  2. We used to have a turtle that would come up the hill and lay eggs in Mom's flower bed.
That was before the bullfrog infestations.
Although bullfrogs are decent target practice with the .22 or pellet gun.

  3. Ralph:I'm not sure what a muskrat smells like, or if we already have them, but can you use some nutria or beaver?
Budde. Always eat what you shoot and kill! Or at least call a Canadian or Cajun. Somehow we have yet to get bull frogs. They probably will arrive some day as eggs stuck to a tractor tire.
